Electronic Music Producer

Kira Martorano on SoundBetter

Hey there, I'm Kira Martorano, a music producer who's collaborated with GRAMMY nominated producers and helped create records that have reached millions of listeners worldwide. My work has been featured by Rolling Stone, EDM.com, and curated by huge names such as Krewella on their SiriusXM show on the largest dance music station, BPM.

Growing up in New York listening to iconic dance records such as Deadmau5 and Kaskade's "I Remember" and "Move For Me", Kira got inspired to start creating and began to use software such as Pro Tools, Logic, and Ableton. At age 16, Kira was invited to work with The New York Youth Symphony, where she would learn more about composition and orchestration from Juilliard faculty and distinguished guests such as five time GRAMMY award winner John Corigliano.

After winning the Discovery Project to perform at EDC: New York in 2013 she would move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the group “Chomstars”. During this time she received support from big names such as Krewella, who would featured their records on their SiriusXM show on BPM. She would go on to win BT's Beatport producer contest all while garnering over a million plays on Spotify & YouTube.

Since then she has continued to work as a producer, creating over three records for the desert dance duo Mojave Grey ("House of the Sun", "Edge of the Night", and "Ride the Fire") as well as many others for various clients. Her work has been featured by Rolling Stone, curated in their "Songs You Need to Know" playlist, and featured on EDMtunes.com as well as EDM.com, and has been talked about in LA weekly.
