As a music producer my background is HIP HOP, however I have produced R&B, EDM, Techno, Trap, Rock and Classical compositions. No one project is the same as another so rates vary. My rates will depend on the scope of the project and work involved.
I Specialize in Crafting/Composing a song for you from scratch, based off of your idea, collectively bringing it to life. This too can include complete lyrics, melodies, a full production with multi tracks. As an accomplished Music Producer I'm able to listen to your 'Demo' and identify what's needed or missing, then take the track and build it to its fullest potential. I can make an original beat for you to write lyrics, verses or sing to. Proficient mixing of a full multitrack song session OR mixing only vocals over a stereo instrumental beat is well within my capabilities. I am also a songwriting, composer, keyboardist.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The Hustle of @617MikeBiv! Docu-film, I scored the entire documentary with producing original music content. This was an extremely proud moment for me as I produced the soundtrack to my mentors Life Story! Mike Bivins (of New Edition, Bell Biv DeVoe) brought me in the music game 30+ years ago as a Music Producer, he took a chance on me and I'm forever grateful!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: The Hustle of @617MikeBiv! The Soundtrack. I am the Music Director as well as produced 80% of the songs in the soundtrack. The soundtrack drops 2024
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog most definitely! I grew up listening to music this way. Also there's nothing like when the needle hits the record.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The freedom to create ANYTHING
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I'm arrogant ... quite the opposite, I'm extremely humble.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Have a clear concept/idea of what you want a song(s) to convey/feel like/sound like/ subject matter ... I can take that and interpret that into music.

A: A vast knowledge and research of many genres of music, my versatility is my strong point
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is my entire basement filled with all things MUSIC, from equipment, keyboards, keytar, drums, percussion instruments, drum machines. Then there is the DJ setup with Technics 1200's and pioneer mixer, crates and crates and crates of vinyl records. Time magazines on artists dating back years ... Framed art of different artists. My Mac computer with Pro - Sonus speakers and sub, along with a soundcard. I utilize Logic Pro for my music production
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Quincy Jones and his production genius, not to mention all of his accomplishments from 8 Grammy award winning Album - "Thriller" and scoring many TV shows such as Emmy Award winning "Roots" by Alex Haley. Two time Grammy Award winner - Teddy Riley and his New Jack Swing ( R&B and HIP HOP fusion of Music)
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Music production for HIP HOP or R&B projects. However I have worked on many genres of music to include my current project "Elektro Lights On' which is an eclectic blend of music styles and sounds to include HIP HOP, Techno, Funk, Trap, Rock, Afrobeat and Soul.
