Not professional, good communication though
Coenie's really easy to work with. Communications are a breeze - he's always prompt and polite with his messages. And where it really matters, the quality of mastering is just great. Will definitely come back for more. :)
Prompt, high quality work. Good, open communications. Would have loved a bit more feedback on the mix but all in all, as fuss-free a job as you can get. Definitely recommended. :)
Coenie just mastered three more songs for us. He does excellent work, gives quick turnaround and feedback, is very supportive when we request revisions, and shares helpful suggestions and insights to help produce the highest quality product. Mastering is an art, and Coenie is the mastering engineer we have been looking for!
We went through four other mastering engineers and services, including some top industry "names", before we found Coenie on SB. His masters are extremely high quality: rich, powerful and clear. Plus, he is a total pro - quick turnaround, very patient, and dedicated to client satisfaction. We could not be more pleased!
Excellent engineer! Mixed 90% of my entire album! If your looking for a good mix at a good price...Coenie-Tunes is the way to go!
Excellent engineer! Had Coenie mix 4 tracks for me and gave me a very high quality sound.
Provided an excellent master for my track! Gave it that final professional sound!
What a pleasure to work with Coenie! I went for a mixdown and Coenie delivers :). Nothing is too much asked and there was enough time to make changes to our liking.
Great person to work with and he did a great job too!
Really enjoyed working with Coenie on the mixdown of my latest track, he did a great job and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended!
Friendly and professional guy. I was real happy with the results of the mix and master. See you next time!

really enjoyed the live stream Skype session
will definitely use connie tunes again!
Coenie did an excellent job on my track, vocals sound exactly how I imagined. Every email he sent me I could picture him smiling.
Pleasure to work with. Was very open to the changes I wanted and did a live mix session on skype where I could hear changes live. Happy with the results
he is great , did a great job on my track , i will be using his service for all my coming tracks.
Coenie is very Professional Mix and Master Engineer. I've send him a not good quality track and the result after his work was amazing. Looking forward to work with him again
Coenie did a great mix for a pretty messy and untidy project that I've worked on in the last 3 years. despite many challenges he stayed totally positive, helpful and proficient.
What was best about it is a session with live feed from his studio in which we worked on the track together and did real time changes in the mix. Totally worth it.
This was my first time working with Coenie-Tunes Productions. Coenie is a kind and friendly guy - something I appreciate in a working relationship. He knows what he is doing, works quickly and is always ready to listen to his customers wishes.
This was a very positive and pretty perfect experience for me. I definitely recommend Coenie!
Coenie did an excellent job with my song and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Looking forward to working with him again soon!
Interview with Coenie-Tunes Productions
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! Without the digital era i wouldn't/ couldn't be doing what i am doing right now. It would have taken me ages to come to the point where i am now. With all software available (DAW's Plugins etc) you have a professional studio without a €.40.000,- console.......But that said, the Analog sound really gives the right polish , depth and punch. Therefore i take all my mixes out of the box into my D-Box and let the copper do the summing instead of my computer crunching numbers.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Working with talented people who express themselves through music !
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: 1. A laptop (including all my software), 2. Apogee Ensemble, 3. Dangerous D-Box, 4. VXT6 Monitors and 5. a power generator to have it all work :-)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: After being a DJ for more than 20 years i have always had the idea of making my own music. With my experience as a DJ i know what a dance floor needs. Back in 2007 i started with it and with the help of friends, courses and mostly my will to succeed i am where i am today. Right now i am able to create produce, mix and master my tracks so that they are ready to release.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I have mainly worked on dance-music, and specially in the soulful, jazzy and deep house genre. I have produced several tracks with singers and live-musicians.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work mainly in the box with Logic (recently Logic X and before that other versions) I use plugins from several manufacturers like Universal Audio, Waves, Native Instruments, Soundtoys, Slate, Fabfilter and Sonnox. I sum all my mixes out of the box via my Dangerous Music D-Box which is an 8-channel summing box and monitor controller. Monitor speakers i use are 2 KRK VXT6 and JBL Control 1 and a Sennheiser HD650 for reference. My AD/DA conversion is being taken care of by my Apogee Ensemble and D-Box (DA only).
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I like live instrumentation. Productions with an organic feel.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most work i have done for clients is remixing one of their songs. Also clients come to me to mix down their track and have it ready for mastering. Occasionally i do mastering for them as well.
