Hello! My name is Thomas Hatch, I'm an independent musician, instructor and session musician based out of San Francisco, Ca. I moved here from my native Sacramento to pursue my professional career as a musician.
I work with MACHINE GIRL, LUSTSICKPUPPY, KILL ALTERS, + many more subversive artists pushing the boundaries of art & music. I'm a recording engineer, co-producer, mixing engineer (often master my own mixing projects) & FOH Live engineer. Mostly these days, I am mixing from my home studio.
I’ve been producing since 2010 and made a living at it full time last few years. I play guitar, piano, bass and drums and have a team of session players who are outstanding, two of which have masters degrees (the cellist and violinist) If I had to pick my strongest element is Guitar - any genre. But yeah we can do mixing, mastering, and/or track.
I specialize in making Hip Hop beats (oldschool and newschool). I'm also experienced in producing 80's Synthwave, Reggae and Dancehall.
I specialize in intimate/atmospheric production, vocal harmonies, songwriting, and acoustic guitar arranging. I love to work with artists in the indie folk, singer-songwriter or pop realm looking for a hands on approach!
