Eclectic Mixing/Mastering

Vaarten Music on SoundBetter

I don’t believe in technical ‘correctness’ for the sake of it. Rather, I believe any choice in the mixing/mastering process should be made on only one condition: that it helps you, the artist, get your vision across. Let's have a (free) exploratory call: https://calendly.com/lavaarten/30min

I am Lennard Vaarten, a mixing/mastering engineer, composer and songwriter based in The Netherlands.

Having previously completed the two-year Audio Engineering program at Volver Sound Academy, I am currently obtaining MMus degree in Music & Technology at HKU. More importantly, I have years of experience composing, remixing, mixing and mastering in styles ranging from techno to jazz to indie rock and everything in between. This experience has provided me with the requisite skills, intuition and professionality to give your music the mix/master it deserves.

My experience with composition shines through in my mixing/mastering work: the development and dynamics of the song is central to my approach, and I enhance it with sometimes subtle, sometimes radical automation effects.

Besides working with and for artists, I have performed sonic branding and other audio work for companies including Ahrend, Enactus and Rouze.
