Indie Music Mix and Mastering

Supporting your art is the priority, millions of independent streams with artists to show for it, no genre or sonic idea ever rejected. I bring my passion for listening and over a decade producing music to the table, on top of industry standard tools and an understanding of loudness. I take pride in looking at things from an artist perspective.

I offer mixing, mastering, production and artistic support where it is called for, with the goal of never overstepping my role in the process.

I primarily work with independent singer-songwriters, DIY/bedroom musicians, hi to lo-fi beat makers and experimental artists who are looking to take their sound to the next stage, or just a different stage. As a music and sound obsessed kid, all I ever wanted was to mess around with the balance controls in my folks' car. Now I get to do it at home every day, and if I'm lucky, with much more sophistication! I promise quick turnarounds, and I offer as many revisions as the project calls for.

My love for music, the process of producing, mixing, mastering and my full trust in the client's vision is why you should work with GBMastering. I've worked on projects recorded in homes, on phones, on tape, in nature, in fancy studios, and even mastered music initially recorded on VHS. I want to hear it all. I've released a variety projects of my own under the name GBMystical (Beats, Indie Rock, Metal, Electronic).

Many modern classic albums have been produced "in the box" so I choose to keep my process mostly digital, which makes budgeting and revisions as efficient as possible, without sacrificing on sound.
