A versatile Sound designer and non traditional composer. Well versed in synthesis and experimental audio who thrives on pushing the envelope. I apply my 5 years experience in a professional recording environment to each project and relish working with people who are also looking to push the boundaries of what’s possible within music, film and audio

I’m Greg, owner of Good Vibrations Sound Design, father of 2 boys and a music nut.

By day I’m an audio post engineer/sound designer based in Manchester (UK) who has experience working on post production for numerous independent short and feature films, as well as commercial experience in a professional recording environment working with clients such as BBC, ITV, Netflix etc.

By night I’m an experimental noise maker/composer. Using and abusing many instruments and audio gear to create audio in the moment with a strong film sensibility. I also work with bands and individuals in an audio engineering and producer capacity.

I am extremely passionate about all things recording/ sound design and I am competent in composing/designing music, sound and foley as well as dubbing mix final projects.

My work has been featured in television and online campaigns (most notably for Boohoo).

On a more technical level, I can also clean/edit/mix audio and dialogue and deliver files in line with industry standards/broadcast regulations (LUFs) 5.1, M&E etc. I am fluent in DAWs Pro Tools and Ableton Live.

I’m looking to work with like minded creative people who push themselves out of their comfort zone and to take risks in pursuit of creating art, not content.
