Howdy, I’m Jake and I produce/mix records in Austin, TX. I’ve been recording my own music since I was 14 and studios have been my second home ever since.

While I specialize in mixing/producing, I’ve also been in every seat in the studio from session player to assistant engineer to artist. I bring all of those perspective to my mixes.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Speakers are Adam A5X's and Adam T10Sub. Sound ID for room tuning. All in-the-box ProTools mixing, except for an 882i Enhancer and a Sony cassette deck just for fun. Plugins are UA, Waves, Soundtoys, Soothe2, Melodyne, and others.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My favorite mixing engineer/producer is Greg Wells. His productions are larger than life and his mixes are the very very natural yet loud.
