If you've played the game Rocket League, you've probably heard my song "Don't Stop The Party (Feat. Deanna)." I produce a wide variety of genres under the name Drunk Girl, but also have produced for many others, such as Ethan Ross, s0cliché, and Sepha.
My specialties include all sub-genres of EDM, particularly House, Drum & Bass, and Dubstep, and pop/rock/alternative styles. I have 20 years of songwriting/production experience, and am confident in my ability to take your project to the next level.

Interview with Andy Hogarth
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My proudest work is my 16-track album from 2024, "Drunk Girl - chaos as a means to cope", which was entirely written/self produced by yours truly.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I've been producing some songs for my girlfriend, Maddy O., who is a very talented singer/songwriter! I also have been writing/producing for my solo project.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Noah L.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Can't beat analog, but the digital realm is getting more and more advanced every day.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I truly put my all into my work, and I refuse to leave any client with work that they're dissatisfied with.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being creative
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: The most frequent question is turnaround time - it varies by project but I would consider myself a fast and efficient producer, and I always see projects to completion in a timely manner
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That music production is easy
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: - What is your vision? - What artists do you feel inspired by? - What are your goals?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: The most important thing to consider is, what are you trying to say?
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I don't even need 5. Macbook/Apollo/AKG C214/Headphones.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have 20 years of songwriting/production experience. I also sing and play guitar, and have been in bands and solo projects since I was 13.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Catchy + clean
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Skrillex, because I think he is a true visionary and absolute master of production.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Parallel processing doesn't just have to be for compression! I parallel process with a multitude of effects, enabling me to stack effects on effects, which gives me more control. For example, adding a parallel delay chain to a lead vocal that also has a pitch shifter + amp simulator. The possibilities are endless!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I have experience creating most styles of music, but usually focus on my alternative rock/pop stuff, as well as EDM
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: EDM Production
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I pride myself on my catchy melodies and high production value.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My work process varies by project, but as far as production - melodies first!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use a Macbook Pro and Apollo x4, and my main vocal/guitar mic is an AKG C214.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am most inspired by artists that implement creative juxtapositions of styles. Artists such as Skrillex, $uicideBoy$, and brakence, are a few that are at the top of my inspiration list.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I offer ghost production, mixing/mastering work, and songwriting, but also can record/engineer out of my home studio in Nashville, TN.
