I am an American autism advocate who lives in Europe, creating graphic arts, motion designs, electronica music, and stories.
As an autism advocate and motion graphic artist, I'm venturing into electronic music production. This journey began during the Christmas break of 2021, inspired by the virtual exhibition ELECTRONIC: From Kraftwerk to The Chemical Brothers at London’s Design Museum. I felt drawn to the expressive potential of electronic music, particularly with the accessibility of modern digital audio workstations (DAWs).
I adopted the stage name NeuralMaker, reflecting the unique perspectives of neurodiverse individuals. To refine my skills, I enrolled in online classes, including deadmau5's MasterClass. My debut album, Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out, primarily explores the Electronica genre, known for its versatility and creative possibilities.
I’m excited to collaborate with other artists and apply my motion graphics background to create visually impactful album art and dynamic visuals. This blend of music and visual art is a thrilling part of my contribution to the electronic music scene.

Interview with NeuralMaker
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I have no signature style. I am just a creative producer experimenting with sound, genres, vibes, and many other music features.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Find someone who can provide some creativity to your project based on their skill set and talent, not their professional level.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Any musician and music production pros who inspired me, including Fred again.., HAAi, Barry Can’t Swim, and Rezz, because I am interested in learning their ways of making music since I can make different sounds.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Before I discovered my musical talent, I was only a motion graphic artist & designer. My main inspiration for music-making was based on a virtual exhibition I watched titled, “ELECTRONIC: From Kraftwerk to the Chemical Brothers,” which was hosted by the Design Museum in London. Music doesn't have to be perfect. You can do it by finding the tune of a genre you may discover. Whether it is dance music or not, music is art. It can be very expressive to produce and enjoyable to perform.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Today, I am starting a new album project based on the inspiration and sound studies of Noetic Science. I am open to collaborations.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Right now, I am currently working with digital music based on my budget savings, but I wish to make analog experience when I finally work at a music studio.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My primary genre, electronica, is an umbrella term for various genres of electronic music built with samples, synthesizers, and drum machines. Whether it’s dance music or not, I find it very expressive to produce and enjoyable to perform. I even wrote a Medium article about Electronica as an EDM spectrum of its subgenres, sounds, and vibes (https://medium.com/the-riff/electronica-a-music-spectrum-of-electronic-dance-genres-sounds-vibes-87feb059984d)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Anything that comes to mind, even the clients’.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am a bedroom producer with a MacBook Pro. My production gear includes 2 AKAI MPK mini mk3s, an AKAI APC64, and an AKAI LPD8. For performance, I have a Pioneer DDJ-FLX10 controller.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: The Chemical Brothers, Justice, Fred again.., Daft Punk, twenty one pilots, deadmau5, Avicii, Gesaffelstein, Rezz, Anyma, Barry Can’t Swim, Jamie xx, Fatboy Slim, The 1975, U2, Swedish House Mafia, Coldplay, Charli xcx, David Guetta, and the list goes on and on…
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I currently provide independent music production services that cater to artists of different genres, helping you transform your ideas into polished tracks. With expertise in arrangement, mixing, and mastering, I ensure that your music stands out in today's competitive landscape.
