My name is Olivia Barrón. Tejana (& proud) originally from San Antonio, Texas, I’m a composer/arranger and performer living in the New York area.
If you need music for a short film, the music or lyrics for a song, a piece re-arranged for an ensemble, or just a piano part, I'm your guy.
I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2024; while there, I majored in Film Scoring for two years, before eventually settling into the Songwriting major with a minor in Musical Theater Writing.
In Spring of 2024, I wrote and staged my folk/rock, 2-act musical, ‘Autobiography of Red' (based on the novel-in-verse by Anne Carson) at the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA). I went on to arrange for another performance, "A Very Superhuman Song Cycle". I have experience arranging for strings, small bands, and A Capella.
