Drew is so easy to work with - a real pleasure - and he needed almost no direction to provide a knock-out vocal performance that fit the song perfectly. He has a most pleasing yet unique voice that sounds effortless, natural, contemporary and, most important, is simply fun to listen to. A great experience and effort by Drew! I'll be back.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I'm friends with Brandon Chase and Michael McQuaid, and would highly recommend checking them out as well!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Customers often ask if I could embellish their idea. My answer is of course I can - I love taking a start of a concept and adding my own experience and flavor to it.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People often don't realize how difficult it is to get a polished vocal. It's taken me years of trial and error and learning to get to where I am and I still have so much to learn.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A guitar, piano, synth, microphone and laptop.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to give it my all and give back a professional recording.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing music since I was a child. I graduated college for Music Business from Belmont University and was a part of multiple bands. Music is a core part of just about every day for me.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am so proud of my work on my debut EP "New Perspective". I wrote (or co-wrote) all of the songs, produced it and mixed it myself.

A: I am working on music for my artist project, and also writing for other artists. I'm also working on a song with Swedish DJ, Mike Perry.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Find someone who is passionate about your music and has the professional skills to help take it to the next level.

A: I am great at writing catchy melodies that will compliment the style of the song
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a full studio setup in Nashville, TN.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly either sing a song that my client wrote, or I write lyrics and melody overtop a produced track.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I love both, but mainly use digital now.
Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Ed Sheeran because I think he is one of the best songwriters of our generation.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Stay motivated and persevere when the ideas aren't flowing.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill would either be my voice or my songwriting.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically start with whatever idea was given to me and try to make it better.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by great writers like Ed Sheeran and Chris Martin (Coldplay). I also really respect Ryan Tedder because not only is he the frontman and songwriter for the massive band OneRepublic, but he also produces and writes for other artists.
