Need a dedicated producer or arranger with a distinctive, shoegaze-influenced vision? I specialize in creating dreamy, nostalgic sonic landscapes.
Michel Abalain (Michel Goes Green) was born in Saïgon at the dawn of the 90s.
Amidst an atmosphere of melancholia, Michel has thrown himself into a lifetime's worth of writing and recording by his young age. At 25, the Saigon-based musician produced extensively with shoegazing vibe, and most recently met critical acclaim with his personal project, "Michel Goes Green". The sound Michel creates is a landscape filled with swooning, hazy reflections on loss, love, nostalgia. It pleads for you to stay in the moment while planting the seed that you will likely lose this memory as it slips into a misty wistfulness. His music is a testament to fixation as a cure for apathy, and the fantasies that emerge from a mind unmoored.
Besides writing and performing solo projects, Michel has worked with many other musicians as a music producer and arranger.
