I'm a passionate sound engineering student and music producer, focused on bringing creative ideas to life through music production, mixing, and sound design.
Hi! I'm a sound engineering student and music producer based in Milan, Italy, currently studying Sound Engineering at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado.
I'm passionate about sound, music production, and the creative process behind bringing an idea to life. I enjoy working with sound both from a technical perspective and as a means of artistic expression, always aiming to find the right balance between creativity, detail, and sound quality.
My skills include audio recording, editing, music production, mixing, mastering, MIDI programming, and sound design. I'm familiar with DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and FL Studio.
I'm particularly interested in collaborating with artists, producers, and creators who want to develop their musical ideas, refine their sound, or explore new sonic possibilities.
I'm always looking to grow, experiment, and learn through new projects, approaching each collaboration with curiosity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to the creative vision behind it.
If you have a project in mind, I'd love to hear about it and explore how we can bring it to life together.

Interview with nick bebi
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One project I'm particularly proud of is my debut single, "pieno di guai." It was a meaningful milestone because I handled every aspect of the project myself, from music production and sound design to the cover artwork. Taking full creative control allowed me to bring my vision to life and develop my artistic identity. I'm proud of it because it represents my dedication, independence, and passion for music.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently focusing on developing my skills in music production, sound design, and mixing while working on personal projects and exploring new sounds. I'm always experimenting with different techniques and styles, aiming to refine my sound and collaborate with artists on exciting new projects.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I'm new to SoundBetter, so I haven't had the chance to connect with other professionals on the platform yet. As I build my network, I'd be happy to recommend talented people whose work and skills I know and trust.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I'd choose digital for its flexibility, accessibility, and endless creative possibilities. I love being able to experiment with sounds, work efficiently, and shape ideas without limitations. However, I appreciate the warmth and character of analog gear, and I believe the best approach is to use whatever serves the song best. For me, creativity matters more than the tools themselves.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is to treat every project with creativity, care, and attention to detail. I'll listen to your vision, communicate openly, and work with you to bring your ideas to life while respecting your artistic identity. My goal is to create something unique together, always remembering that less is more and every sound should have a purpose.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I enjoy most about music production is turning an idea into something real and unique. I love experimenting with sounds, discovering new creative possibilities, and finding the right elements to give each track its own identity. Seeing how a simple idea can evolve into something meaningful and emotional is what motivates me to keep learning and creating.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Clients often ask about the creative process, turnaround time, revisions, and how closely I can match their references. I explain that every project is different, and I always aim to understand the artist's vision before starting. I keep communication open throughout the process and work collaboratively to achieve the best possible result.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: One of the biggest misconceptions about music production is that more layers, plugins, and complex techniques always lead to better results. In reality, great production is about making the right choices, serving the song, and creating an emotional connection. Sometimes, less is more.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask clients about their artistic vision, musical references, and the emotions they want to convey. I also ask about their preferred sound, project goals, deadline, and any specific ideas they have in mind. Understanding their expectations from the beginning helps me create a production that truly reflects their vision.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My advice is to choose someone who understands your vision, communicates openly, and is willing to experiment with you. Share your references and ideas, but stay open to new possibilities. The best results come from mutual trust, clear communication, and a shared passion for creating something unique. Don't be afraid to try something different, and remember: less is more.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I'd bring a knife, a lighter, a water filter, a satellite phone, and a notebook with a pen. Survival comes first, but I'd also need a way to keep my ideas alive and write down anything that comes to mind. You never know when inspiration will strike, even on a deserted island!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started producing music in 2019, developing my skills through a combination of self-teaching and formal education at music schools and academies. Over the years, I've continued to learn, experiment, and refine my approach to production, sound design, and mixing, always striving to grow as a musician and sound engineer.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style blends modern pop, electronic music, and hip-hop influences, with a strong focus on sound design, atmosphere, and detail. I enjoy experimenting with textures and unconventional sounds while keeping the music catchy and emotionally engaging. I believe in the “less is more” philosophy, making every element count and giving each song its own identity.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: As an Italian producer, I'd love to collaborate with many Italian artists and contribute to the growth of our music scene. At the same time, working with international artists would be an amazing opportunity to explore different cultures, exchange ideas, and create music without boundaries.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't be afraid to experiment and break the rules. Learn the fundamentals, but remember that great production comes from developing your own sound and trusting your ears. Less is more: every sound should have a purpose, and sometimes simplicity makes a track truly unforgettable. Focus on the emotion of the song rather than adding layers or plugins just for the sake of it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mainly work with pop, electronic music, hip-hop, and trap, drawing inspiration from modern production styles and innovative sound design. I'm also interested in exploring different genres and blending influences to create unique sounds and distinctive musical identities.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strength lies in combining technical knowledge with creativity. I'm passionate about sound design, experimenting with sounds, and finding unique ways to bring musical ideas to life. I focus on creating distinctive productions that balance originality, detail, and emotion.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of sound to every song. My goal is to develop a distinctive sonic identity through innovative production, thoughtful arrangements, and carefully crafted sounds, always serving the emotion and artistic vision behind the music.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My process starts with understanding the client's vision, references, and goals. I then develop the musical ideas through production, sound selection, and arrangement, refining the details through editing and mixing. I keep communication open throughout the process, welcoming feedback and revisions to ensure the final result reflects the client's artistic vision.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My home studio features Kali Audio LP-6 V2 monitors, beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro headphones, an RØDE NT1 Signature microphone, and a Solid State Logic SSL 2+ audio interface. I work primarily with FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro, using professional plugins from FabFilter, UAD, Soundtoys, and other leading brands for music production, mixing, and sound design.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by Charlie Puth, Benny Blanco, Skrillex, Nick Mira, MACE, and Flume. I admire their creativity, distinctive sounds, innovative production techniques, and ability to blend genres while creating music with a strong identity and emotional impact.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I focus on music production, arrangement, and audio editing, combining creativity and technical precision to develop unique sounds and bring musical ideas to life. I also work on mixing and sound design, adapting each project to the artist's vision and style.
