Support from Tiesto, NERVO, Fedde Le Grand + more. Can help with mix, production, and master of your tracks.
Hey, what's up guys! Adam here,
I’m from New York and have been producing music for over 10 years. I pride myself on quality and on results. I’ve had consistent releases on top-tier labels such as Sirup Music, 1st Strike, Storm Music, and TurnItUp Muzik. My release “Up For You” in 2022, surpassed 1.5 million streams on Spotify. My music was also played on Sirius XM Radio and supported by the likes of Tiesto, Fedde Le Grand, and NERVO.
I love producing club tracks as well as radio edit pop vocal tracks. I can produce just about any genre of music. I specialize mainly in EDM / DANCE / Electronic but I also have experience in pop, hip hop, electronic, and dubstep as well.
Let's be honest, it can be hard to learn by watching a video on YouTube and even harder to apply what you've learned! I can definitely help with adding any production elements to your track and have a well-balanced sounding mix. For mastering, I can make sure your song is ready for labels and streaming outlets such as Spotify and Apple Music as well.
- Each project is a case by case basis so pricing can be determined.

Interview with Adam Marcos
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recently produced a ton of songs outside of my comfort zone and am super proud of it! Being versatile and reinventing yourself is a good thing and every artists should always experiment. It should be coming out soon on a label that I looked up too when becoming involved in the scene.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Definitely Zack Edward -- we've collaborated on songs together and he does great work!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Most customers mainly ask for feedback and explain to me their vision of what they want the project to be. Listening and understanding your client's vision is extremely important. Communication is everything.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Sooo many but the main guys are -- Axwell, Avicii, Tiesto, and Calvin Harris
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Would love to work with Calvin Harris, love how he is very versatile and always keep things very simple and catchy
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Always communicate effectively and reference tracks for your project so the provider has a full and complete understanding of what you are aiming for
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My 5 pieces of gear would be: 1. Laptop 2. Hard drive 3. Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro Headphones 4. Midi Keyboard 5. Desk 6. Chair (for bonus) haha
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style would mainly be described as bass house/progressive house, however i am very versatile and have been experimenting with pop and midtempo/electronic tracks lately
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: For my studio setup I am using a iMac computer and my DAW is Ableton Live 10. I also do have Logic and used that for 7 years until making the switch. I also have beyerdynamic dt 770 pro headphones as well as an Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 with SubPac. For Plugins/Vsts i have -- Waves Bundle, Plugin Alliance, Fabfilter Bundle, Serum, Spire, Sylenth, Massive, Arturia, Kontakt, and many more
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do are ghost production, mixing, and mastering
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Being versatile and learning different genres! Tons of new music in the works and super excited about it!!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! Analog is of course known for that warm vintage sound from back in the day while digital is more common "today" because of DAW's in where you can easily create, mix, and edit tracks etc!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: For you to be fully satisfied and happy 100% of the end result ! Communication is everything!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making people happy through music!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: A big misconception is that a lot of people think you can end up playing main stage festivals or be at a high level very very fast. Behind every successful artists are long hours of hard work and perseverance to keep pushing forward.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I would like to know as many details as possible regarding what you're looking (genre, style). The more examples and specific you are, it will definitely help throughout the process!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been doing this for 7+ years ! I make music under my own artist brand (Adam Marcos)
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't spend no more than 5 minutes adjusting something! This took me a while to learn, I would sit there for 30 minutes to sometimes an hour trying to "fix" a sound. The creativity process is very important and if you can't get it right within 5 or 10 minutes, then quickly move on and find another one before your creativity runs out !
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work mainly on electronic dance music but have done other genres such as pop, indie, hip hop and subgenres of EDM which are House, Deep House, Bass house + more!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Being an active listener and fully understanding your vision for the project
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring experience and an understanding of what labels look for in a song. I've had my own music played on main stages festivals such as Tomorrowland and have had my songs charted on Beatport.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I work on music full time! I always strive for quality and never rush anything! The end goal is to of course make the customer happy and fully satisfied!
