Hi, I'm Lucas. I'm a guitar player, producer, mixing engineer, pianist and arranger from Rotterdam. I started playing the piano at a very young age and I discovered my love for guitar after seeing John Frusciante play. After teaching myself how to produce I released my debut in 2018 and now I love to produce/mix/play on other peoples projects too.
I've been recording projects for nearly ten years, and the last four of them have been professionally. After earning a degree as a guitarist/mixing engineer at the conservatory, I started offering my skills as a producer/mixing engineer, and now I'm working out of my own studio in the centre of Rotterdam. I'm lucky enough to have credits for the soundtracks of multiple films/commercials and theatre-pieces. No matter what project I get involved in, I give 100% of my energy to help the artist getting the best production possible.
I toured (as a guitarist/singer and pianist) with multiple bands and artists from the Netherlands, including my new-wave/ post-punk band Paterzonen (influenced by bands like Interpol and Joy Division etc.)
In my studio I work in Logic Pro X, I record through an Apollo x8p (Universal Audio) with some high-end analog pre-amps and compressors (CAPI28's, ART PRO MPA II, Warm Audio WA76 to name a few). I record piano on an acoustic Rönisch and besides that I have multiple analog synthesizers to use (Dave Smith rev16, CASIO-ct460 f.e.). I'm able to record acoustic/electric guitars beautifully with a wide variety of good guitars, through multiple effects and amplifiers.
Don't hesitate to get in touch, I'd love to hear about your ideas and projects!
