I have been writing poetry my entire live, slams, traditional, spoken word, etc. I had the opportunity in 2013 to co-write lyrics for a Canadian Musician (Andrew Cole), and the song it was remixed by Glenn Morrison, and landed in the Canadian charts in 2014/2015 peaking at #14. It also was in the recurring charts due to it's success. Within the year there were numerous remixes done by several DJs.
I am skilled at taking scratch tracks and writing lyrics to fit the vision and theme desired by artists, or writing lyrics to an existing song that just needs more lyrics. I haven't delved in to writing hooks, but I feel I have the creativity to do so if given the opportunity.
