Joshua JY Kim is a professional Studio Mix, Mastering and Tracking Engineer as well as a FOH Engineer of 6 years. Having studied Audio technology at Berklee college of music, he has a strong foundational education within the audio world, along with hands on experience, from working in broadcast television, and a variety of recording studios.
With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in pop, electronic music, and indie. Since 2017, I’ve been part of the band for the German TV show Sing meinen Song, performing with artists like Johannes Oerding, Clueso, and Michael Patrick Kelly. I'm also touring for various artists, playing on Germany’s biggest stages for audiences up to 50,000.
I am a music producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Norway, focused on downtempo and New age electronica. I come from a background in meditative sound landscapes, which informs my use of live instruments/samples borrowed from Sound Healing projects, and I also have experience producing indie rock and song-based projects.
