Performer of the 20-stringed Indian slide guitar, classically trained in Hindustani ragas with a background in popular music styles. Played for 20k people at the 2019 Kumbh Mela, music featured on Radio New Zealand, NPR and BBC Introducing and the only American playing Indian classical music on this instrument on top stages throughout India.
My studio is permanently set up with top-quality mics and a vast array of instruments ranging from the usual congas, bongos, cajon, tambourines, cowbells etc. to more exotic instruments like calabash, trines, tabla, talking drum, waterphone, & tuned percussion. No session is too big or too small and I am able to work to the strictest deadlines.
I am a songwriter/producer that is always looking for a fresh angle on a song, from whichever chair I'm sitting in. I'm best at taking vocals and "painting" around them with a fresh and unique audio soundscape. I specialize in indie, singer/songwriter, rock, pop, & country.
