Hey, I'm Marcus - a Swedish-American composer and multi-instrumentalist based between Stockholm, London, and LA. I am stylistically versatile, creating anything from pop and r&b to experimental electronic music. I have been playing guitar for around 8-9 years and am currently preparing to take my Grade 8 examination. I also produce electronic music (dubstep, hip hop, soundtracks etc.) and have been for the past 3 years. Since I co-founded the label Starke Records I have developed my skills as an Amateur Mastering Engineer in order to master our releases.

I've been recording music for 30 years and playing guitar for over 35 years. I love good music, is not the genre that matters, is the way you do what you do. I love adding something mine to the music like a producer but I can be also a sound engineer who makes the job without interfering with the artistic direction.
After graduating from the conservatory (Jazz major) I have been involved in countless musical projects in the style of Neo Soul/Jazz/EDM/Gospel/Pop/Blues/Funk/Reggae as pianist.
I am a professional cellist who likes to play all kind of genres and has a special interest in folk music and metal. I play a german Petrus Schulz cello from 1870, which has been really well appreciated in all my jobs and it's perfect for high quality recording.
