I'm a producer and songwriter located in Nashville. After years of being a frontman of bands and being able to work with some incredible producers and engineers, I fell in love with the creative process. My goal is to be the kind of producer I wanted to have as an artist and work with you to make the best possible version of your song we can!
I am a lifelong guitarist that took up recording at the ripe ol age of 8 years old. I started with 2 cassette recorders bouncing back and forth. Then a 4 track tape machine and just kept going. I eventuall graduated to pro tools and since have produced 10 albums of which most are available on iTunes and Spotify. I also have Wavelab 9 for mastering.
Makio has worked in the music industry for over 10 years as an artist, songwriter and producer. He's worked with established artists (P. Diddy, Trey Songs,) to up and coming artist in local Los Angeles and overseas (Ivy J, John Hart, Will Singe, Kida Kudz). His production team Las Venus continues to make placements in TV/Film (Netflix,VH1,NBC,MTV)
