My name is Nic Hanson, I'm a songwriter and producer based out of Philadelphia and Brooklyn. I'm also a session vocalist, drummer and pianist.
I've been a touring/session drummer for 15+ years, having worked with indie-pop projects to major label artists. I have recorded in some fantastic studios and have now taken those skills to my own studio in upstate New York. My drum tracks focus on groove, energy and vibe, always prioritizing the integrity of the song.
I have 26 years experience in the studio business. I won the Lexi Award in 2018 for Best Engineer and the 2020 Lexi Award for Best Bassist. Professional mixing and mastering is what I do.
