Hey, I’m Matt Parad — a producer, songwriter, and mixer working across indie pop, R&B, and alternative genres. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with artists like Tinashe, Anderson .Paak, Artemas, Olivia O’Brien, Years & Years, Aloe Blacc, Selah Sue, Catie Turner, Will Joseph Cook, Maiah Manser, Tessa Violet, and the legendary Nile Rodgers.
From touring as a guitarist with Tupelo Honey and Makeshift Innocence (Forest Blakk) to earning 3 Juno nominations for production work with Shawnee Kish and Nuela Charles, I have almost two decades of experience in both the studio and the stage, giving a unique perspective toward making great music.
The world is a well, I watch as people are trying to claw their way up. It isn't my privilege to stand there, but my responsibility. My words are my strength and my music is the rope by which I hope, of pulling up every soul I possibly can. Although I am finite, my work immortalizes me, allowing me to forever help others out of the darkness.
