Hello! My name is Alan Keary and I am a string arranger/player who can provide anything from a traditional quartet, a large 32 piece string orchestra or an improvised pass running through a tape delay on violin, viola, cello or double bass. On top of being a string arranger I am also a professional sessions electric bass player.
Mixing Engineer and Pro Tools professional. I have worked in multiple top tier recording studios in Nashville. Some of my credits include working with Amy Lee of Evanescence, The Wailers, Brand New and others. I have over 12 years experience mixing singles and albums. I currently operate a small mixing studio and own a live sound production company
Soulful pop or jazz vocals (lead or background). My voice is versatile between genres and I have a wide range. I use LogicPro and a SM7B mic for most projects. BGVs will be on the lower end of my pricing range, lead Vox will be at the upper end.
I make music, primarily (but not exclusively) score for films and audiovisual projects. I create music that is all about emotion. Atmosphere and feeling are the key elements to me (without compromising sound quality; a listener can't get into the feeling of the music if they're wondering "why does this sound weird?").
