Hi, My name is Clay and I'm a session drummer located in Sydney, Australia. I've been playing drums professionally for over 20 years in lots of different styles; everything from 50's & 60s, disco to pop, rock and metal. I'm available for recording sessions either for individual songs or whole albums at competitive rates.
An all-rounded individual who co-writes, arrange, records and mixes music for artists and bands to get their music heard with quality. I have produced with independent artists to get their music from voice memos to a track heard by the world.
I grew up between two worlds: my family’s deep ties to Chinese traditional music and the years I spent soaking up producing music. I started playing piano and guzheng (Chinese harp) from a very young age; at the age of 14, I started producing my own songs, then went on to study music production.
