LBA Studios is owned and operated by seasoned Producer/Engineer, Mike Congilosi II. Acoustically tuned rooms, top-shelf microphones, and the finest vintage instruments and amps. The studio offers a unique array of hand-made pieces of high-end analog recording equipment, since it also serves as the test bed for Lightning Boy Audio's product R&D.
I am a music producer and audio engineer based in New York City. I operate out of my own production room at Shelter Island Sound in Manhattan. I combine high end vintage and modern analog gear with state of the art plugins to give your music a big record sound.
I have a degree in Creative Writing from Southern Utah University, with a minor in Film and Screen Studies. I know how to write for a specific audience, especially if that market is for tv or film. I was nominated for a Logan Award in 2017 for my lyric writing.
I have a creative ear for music. I have the ability to arrange songs in a crazy way placing sounds and notes where they need to go. I'm a musician first but have that producer hat as well being able to hear things and see things in pictures creating a enjoyable project, song, track, or beat.
I'm a gear necromancer! I bring some old and vintage gear back to life and I do mixing and mastering with them! Adding colour and sweetening your music with their punchy and tasty characteristic!
