I am Chris Parkes, please allow me to put my experience to work in bringing your musical vision to life. I have been working mainly freelance for the past twenty years mixing, editing, and mastering. I work in a private studio in the North Shore of Massachusetts using Logic Pro and a fully in-the-box solution of modern and 'vintage' software.
It's hard to write a sales pitch when making music is so personal, emotional... but here goes. I love strong storytelling and soaring melodies and this is what I hope to bring to every project, and artist I work on and with, whether that's through piano recording, vocals, production or songwriting.
I am a musician, songwriter and pianist with a BA from the University of Oxford. I have written several albums, screenplays for short films, and two volumes of poetry.
