Since mastering is about the presentation, it is subjective, yet still requires an objective perspective of the music. There are as many opinions about how mastering is needed and used as there are engineers. Music is art. And art is not a competition.
A long and varied career as a musician in NYC has had me traveling the world with many different artists, including Meshell Ndegeocello, Walter Becker (Steely Dan) Natalie Merchant, Screaming Headless Torsos, and many more. I have recorded on over 100 hundred commercially released records. I have also released 3 solo recordings and have produced 8 records to date.
Excel in top lining, vocal comping in most styles (see description), and songwriting (music and/or lyrics). Experience singing backup for the following artists: Sting at Carnegie Hall, JAIN on The Late Show, Demi Lovato on tour at the Prudential Center Arena, Train in Times Square on New Years Eve, and Paul McCartney on Saturday Night Live.
