Shortwave is a Los Angeles– and Nashville-based mixing engineer focused on musical, human mixes with clarity, balance, and feel. Credits include studio work associated with projects reaching hundreds of millions of streams collectively, across song- and performance-focused music.

A good song doesn't need expensive plugins. It needs a clear idea, a solid performance, and emotion people can connect with. Production should support the song, not hide it. If you already have the idea, I can help turn it into a finished record.

I help artists turn ideas and raw recordings into clean, demo-ready tracks with character. I can also help develop songs from scratch or expand sketches into full demo arrangements, including rhythm parts, vocal ideas, MIDI drums and basic synths. Demo-focused production and mixing with clear balance and consistent sound, not commercial mastering.
