Hey! I'm Michael, a producer and bass player from India. I am stylistically versatile, creating anything from pop and r&b to electronic music. Kevin Allison opened Angels Gate Recording Studio in Christchurch in March of 2011. The studio was permanently closed in 2016.

Starting off as a drummer and continuing as an engineer, I've been involved in the music industry all of my professional career. I fell in love with mixing and mastering other artists' music. Every musician deserves to get goosebumps when they listen back to the finished mixes. This is what gets me up in the morning.

I've been recording remotely for 25 years.

Worked professionally as a Singer/Songwriter in LA doing music for 10+ years. Wrote for many artists under Universal Music Group. Worked with artists like Common, Noah Neiman, Talin Silva, & Stevie Wonder. Written/sang songs for many Indie films in the film festival world. I've taught songwriting since 2016 and take a lot of pride in my lyrical abilities as well as my unique vocal tone.

I am a professional saxophonist and horn arranger who has performed and/or arranged for Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, The Rolling Stones, The Police, Bob Dylan, Mariah Carey, The Temptations, The O'Jays, Patti Labelle, Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes, and many others. I've done numerous shows at the Apollo Theatre and Carnegie Hall.
