Hi, I’m Mikel Valdez (aka Trip-Tex), an electronic music producer and DJ specializing in dubstep, riddim, and bass-heavy genres. With years of experience crafting cinematic soundscapes and hard-hitting drops, I bring a unique sound design to every project.

I'm an electronic music producer, sound designer, DJ and audiophile based out of Vancouver, Canada. I have a diploma in Audio Engineering and Music Production from Harbourside IT, and have been working in the industry ever since. Every project is unique. As a result, I've stayed versatile.

My 25+ years in the Nashville trenches making records as a session drummer and producer, along with all the friendships and connections I've been fortunate to make within the entire spectrum of the music business, this is what I enjoy sharing with artists I work with.
