Awarded Vocal Performer of the year in 2016 after graduating from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California, Krystan sings a variety of genres, but specializes in Country and Pop.
I'm a singer/songwriter/producer from Berlin - genre: art pop, inspired by 80s/90s pop/wave/independent and classical music (I play the cello as well). My debut-CD came out back in 1996 on a German independent label. Since Dec 2017 I'm busy again, producing new material in collaboration with NREC - a CD-release is planned for 2020.
While I do a little bit of everything in the songwriting process, as a songwriter, I would consider myself to primarily be a lyricist first and foremost. Words are powerful and can take you on a journey of emotion, and for me that is what great song writing is all about. My writing style tends to be conversational.
I've been following the tracks of the gods of rock since i was a child, now it's time to create my own music using just a daw, some pluging, a keyboard, my old guitar but especially my heart.
