He was incredible to work with honestly. The workflow communication was unbelievably smooth between the two of us. He listened to my ideas and not only did he come back to me with samples of what I wanted, but he also went out of his way and created his own melodies for what he thought might work for the song! A: Impactful playing with a producers mindset.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Saxophone overdubs.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be mindful of scientific notation (ex: E1, E2, E3, etc. on your piano roll) when you voice the notes in your chords/leads/melodies/bass/etc - you can avoid mix issues and create space in your productions by keeping each part out of each others way in the sonic space. (example: if your bass is playing E1 (E0 in Ableton) then it is prudent to not have E1 playing in any other synth/piano,etc..)
