I needed my mix done fast - four hours to be precise. Plot dropped everything and mixed everything beautifully well within the time I needed it. Let me also add that this track was by no means the easiest to work with - I gave him a very rough concoction of things that have been recorded over a timespan of four years in different rooms, with different equipment, and Plot was able to pull something beautiful out of it. Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: As an experienced producer/recording engineer, I pride myself on being able to deliver a radio-ready product.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: An amazing vocal is invaluable if you want to make a huge track. A professional vocal will be tuned and recorded well, making it easier for you to get a great result from production. I like to start with a vocal to build the track around. I'm also inspired by reference tracks and how they were built, what instruments or samples were used, where the drums sit etc.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is equipped with Sceptre S8's, Temblor T8, Subpack S2, Yamaha S8's to monitor. I use plenty of DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton and FL Studio). Some plugins I use are Melodyne, Revoice Pro, Waves Plugins, iZotope plugins (Ozone 8, VocalSynth, Neutron and RX8). For Producing I use Spectrasonics Omisphere, Trillian and Keyscape, Native Instruments Komplete (like Massive and Kontakt), Serum, Sylenth1 and more. Some instruments I have are three acoustics, three electrics, a ukelele, three kalimbas, a Chinese Erhu, a pan drum, an Akai MPK261 keyboard.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I always felt that Serban Ghenea was a top-notch record mixer. His mixing style inspires me to work on a more technical approach. His mixes are incredibly precise and detailed, each element sits perfectly with everything else in the mix. I've been greatly influenced by Sasha Sloan's songwriting. My favorite producers include The Chainsmokers, Avicii, and Droeloe. I'm also obsessed with King Henry's chord progressions, long builds, and Michael Keenan's production that makes a single sound intricate. And I love Sean Myers synth lead arrangements.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I work with a wide range of pop and hip-hop artists, helping them with production, mixing, and mastering. I can help you focus on vocals to make them sound more polished and professional, or create an entire instrumental track from scratch. I am very detail-oriented when it comes to vocals. I can help you achieve a polished and modern sound that's perfect for today's top hits.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Quality isn't cheap
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Parmesan cheese
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style for production and songwriting is in the more sad pop subgenre. I add a twist by incorporating an electronic aspect to an otherwise acoustic song. My song "My Strange Addiction," is one of my favorite songs I made and is a perfect example of the dark pop style.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: One tip that I always use myself is that I always try and use a reference track that sounds similar to how I want my mix or production to sound. Then I strive to match or surpass the quality of the reference.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on modern Pop music like Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and The Chainsmokers. I also produce and mix for indie artists like Raccoons Anonymous, an Indie Rock band. I also produce electronic music, hip hop, trap, and acoustic music.
