French electro-pop artist Teebo is making a name for himself with his productions.

Obsessed by pop culture and fashion and its capacity to change the world, Teebo admires artists who embody a concept and stand up for who they are as humans. He takes influence from a wide range of notable musicians including Prince, N.E.R.D, Missy Elliot, Queen, Muse and Madonna. Teebo has even supported for Lil Debbie when he played at the Manchester Academy in 2016. He has worked for Ebony Bones, Bright Light Bright Light, Alun Davies etc.
Although Teebo is a talented and conceptual musician, he has an aptitude for both singing and songwriting with which he has much experience.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I especially proud of an EP I wrote and produced a few years ago. I got to learn so many instruments and wrote so many lines. The result was really satisfying.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently working on my EP.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: DEXY MASTERING ! He does great mastering and is an absolute pleasure to work with!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. I feel freer and more at ease with digital!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I do my best for them to be fully satisfied!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like that I get to tell and produce so many different stories. I sometimes feel like a therapist and I love it!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What story do you want to tell?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Dare to be creative with your ideas! ;)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A pen, paper, lots of paper, a mic, and something to record on!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this for 12 years. I've worked for many artists, including Ebony Bones, Lil Debbie, Bright Light Bright Light, Alun Davies, Vogue etc
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Pop Electro!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would have loved to work with David Bowie. I mean, should I even explain why?
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Stay focus and organized!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly Pop music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Writing is my strongest skill.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a different vibe to the song, like ethnical sounds, and add it to a mainstream sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If I am to write a song or produce one, I like to get an idea of what the client feels like, what story he/she would like to tell. I then craft something that I send for review before jumping head first into the idea that we feel is the best.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I've got a home studio, I use Ableton. I've got a good set of mics and all the equipment needed to a great production.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm mostly inspired by mainstream Pop, but also artists such as Zhu and Bonobo.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly write songs and produce lines for my clients.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long would it take for me to have a song? Three days top. :)
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's easy to produce a song.
