My biggest passion is creating mixes that maintain dynamics, clarity, and musicality.
I am a mixing engineer who works on many different genres of music from pop, hip hop, electronic, RnB, and rock. I love creating a vision with artists and pushing the sonic boundary as far as possible in order to reach their goals. I will always work with the artist and give them my full attention to understand where they want to go, and will never compromise until their vision is fulfilled.

Aidan has one of the best ears in the game! I trust his mixing/production skills above most people I've worked with, and would recommend him to any artist friend looking to collaborate on a song. This day and age, creativity, efficiency, and reliability is a really difficult trifecta to pull off, and Aidan does it with ease. I highly recommend him for all genres/projects. He slays!
Interview with Aidan Thillmann
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That you can learn mixing online, or teach yourself mixing because it's not that hard. Mixing takes an immense amount of ear training, technical training, and just a sheer passion and fire for it. The best mixers in the world are only able to create amazing after years and years of experience.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: In the digital era, audio can only represent a finite amount of information that our ears can recognize at one time. When producing music, do NOT add too many elements that end up fighting each other for "space" in the sound spectrum. There's no need for 4 kick drums and 5 snares if one of each is better. It's easier for mixers to make a song sound bigger and fuller with less elements.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on various forms of pop music, like indie pop, alternative, electronic, and hip hop.
