Southpaw on SoundBetter

Nice to meet you. I am a recording artist, writer, composer, and keyboard player living in Los Angeles. I have been singing since my father's voice captivated me at an early age. I have worked with artists such as Michael Buble, Shellback, Black thought, Danger Mouse, and many more. I hope I can help bring your project to life!

There's a saying: You're only as good as your last record. I approach every project with the emotion and attention to detaiI that I would if it were my own.

SINGING:
-I will provide you with studio quality vocals (3 lead stems and 2 stems each for up to 3 harmony tracks, and 2 ad lib stems). I have been recording vocals for over 15 years, and know how to give your song emotional life while not straying from the rhythm and melody you have carefully put together. I can sing House, EDM, soul, pop, rock, and some RnB.

SONGWRITING:
-I am an obsessive, constant songwriter. I always strive for unique, effective lyric and melody. This has the added benefit that I regularly meet publishers, labels, etc. that could help with our song if it's great. I like to start with a hook or a concept, but also like the puzzle of putting a topline to written lyrics or poems. Songs should tell stories.

SCORING: Several short films and ads. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3839902/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

PIANO/KEYS:
-gigging and recording as a keyboard player for 15 years. In the last 3 months at the time of this writing, I have played at some of LAs best clubs such as Viper Room, House of Blues, Los Globos, and the Whisky go go. I specialize in Fender Rhodes, piano, synth, and organ.
