Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I have a hybrid setup of Analog and ITB processing for Mixing and production. I record at a rather huge facility here in Miami, having plenty of toys at my disposal to give every song the absolute best it can have.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: CLA, Mick Guzauski and Jaycen Joshua are some of my favorite engineers that I've studies and learned from throughout my years in the music industry, most of my techniques have come from these geniuses.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I'm fortunate enough to work on both Mixing and Production Services; I spend most of my time bouncing between the two; going from Rap, Hip Hop to RNB, Gospel and Soul. As a musician, my vision on most projects is to approach it from a musical stand point, adding any texture, layers or arrangement to help the feel of the song.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Have some cool Latin stuff I'm mixing at the moment, lots of percussive elements.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Depends on the genre, I have a few!

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I enjoyed doing work for social club misfits on their last album; they are great guys, and it was a very smooth process on the production and logistics with the group and the label.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both, they're just tools.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I will always go the extra mile to make sure the song is JUST RIGHT.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: All the different styles of music I get to work on, there's always something different! Great for minds like mine.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Are your mixes run through analog? Yes, depending on the genre and requirement, it might be a Neve 33609 Pro Art comp Or an API For EQ, I'm open. Can you master? Yes, all my mixes include mastering FREE.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That Quick means cheap; experience gives us engineers the ability to make quick decisions.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What artist are you most influenced by? What is your budget? What is your deadline?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: I would say send me your demo. Let me get an idea of what you have and where I can take it. Every project is different and requires a different vision.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: - Guitar - Piano - Percussion - shaker Won't be doing much recording on an island with no power :)

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started recording at the age of 12; I had my first break at 18 and haven't stopped since! You can say over eight years.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I have a very soulful style to my production and arrangement craft; I was very inspired by soulful music growing up, and that's very much influenced by art.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Big fan of “Toto,” I would love to dive into the classic rock sonics!

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Don't “fix it in the mix”; fit it during production.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I bounce around from Hip-Hop & RnB to Christian Gospel.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Before I became an engineer or a producer, I was a musician, and I often study what's trending; this helps keep my work as up-to-date as possible. More so, what I can offer is an up-to-date project, whether it's a mix, a master, or a production.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Artists send me their demos or ideas, and I finalize that small idea's entire song. Often, I also write melodic and lyrical portions of the song. After the demo has been laid out, I start prepping for recording and, soon after, mixing!

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Hard to choose between both production and mixing, since for me, they go hand in hand.
