Auto-tune:
I don't use cheats or tricks. I edit every vocal and instrument track by hand without automatic tools (VocAlign, Autotune, etc), ensuring the human element is found across the production. Many music producers use VocAlign + Auto-tune to quickly bypass these steps in the pursuit of saving time... but the results show. You can hear the pitch correction. The soul has been lost.
