Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was harmonizing with two other talented vocalists for a musical and we live recorded one of the tracks on the album, how incredible. the rush of live recording and our talents blending with passion. beautiful.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Mango Jambo kids! A learning channel for kids, I co-write and sing songs on most of the channels animated show

A: I'm new here but i look forward to getting to know and be familiar with this community

A: ehhhhhh, ugh. thats rough. depends on the genre!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: to deliver the emotional you want to feel when you hear the song
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love creating and telling stories through lyrics and sound
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: can you sing a cover of.... yes I can but don't expect me to sounds like that person please, I'll do my own thing with it.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: that I sound like someone else. thats impossible.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: what is the purpose behind the songs message and what emotion do we want to awaken in the listener
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: know your target audience and what you would like to achieve in terms of the atmosphere we will create. examples of similar tracks and styles are perfect.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: pen and paper to write all of my crazy notes and lyrics down. I'm old school when I write songs. My pillow, because come on! Micro phone so the other islands could hear me too and a ukulele
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Writing and theatre. I turned my hand to writing years ago after completing musical theatre in school. I enjoyed stage life and the learning curve of working with other people so much. I obviously loved to sing but also found writing lyrics and telling stories on and off the stage equally as fulfilling.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: british, jazzy, soulful and meaningful power with heartfelt softness
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: It would have been the Everly brothers, maybe in the next life
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: be prepared. learn and hone your craft, never stop learning and enjoy not being right all the time. musicians are not lone workers, we thrive in teams
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: commercial pop songs
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocally I have extreme control over my sound but mentally: My skills lie in relating to other peoples emotions and delivering their story through vocals
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: emotional, style vibe and substance. Ultimately we are telling a story here with lyrics and sounds its imperative to create that sense of feeling when other people hear the track. It must deliver the message it is supposed to.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I receive a track and demo vocal usually and then practice until I know my way around the melody. I sing based on the clients needs and vibe, feel and where the track will be placed so I can bring a balance and create an atmosphere around the song to provide the correct output. I will send a rough recording to see if I have executed the vocal to the clients liking and then have my engineer polish the professional recording before submitting the work.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have full access 24/7 to a professional recording studio owned by Opus recording studios in North Hollywood CA.
