Johann Grillenbeck is a film music composer and electronic music producer from southern Germany. His commercial music project Monĕsk has reached a global audience on streaming and at local festivals. He was a finalist in the 2025 Kraków Film Music Festival YTA. In June of 2023 he was presented with the WDR Filmscore Award.

In today's day and age, film music composition has much more to do with electronic music production than traditional score-writing. After all, directors need a finished end product from the music departement, so we as composers need to know how to a) write and b) produce! Trust me, you'll need someone who can finish music reliably.

As a multi-instrumentalist on guitar, bass and piano, my productions always include my own playing, in addition to MIDI Instruments. I can help you facilitate recording additional instruments.
