Alt-pop / Experimental / Hip Hop Producer & Mix Engineer with a thing for analog textures.
Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist, artist and producer who just so happened to spend a lot of years as a studio rat engineering and mixing records. I was lucky enough to cutting my teeth in an all analog space multitracking and playing a lot with tape. I, like we all do, love the character and texture of using tape the wrong ways, and I approach mixing through a similar form.
I specialize in production, beat-making, mixing and some session-ing on drums, bass and guitar. Really thrive working with artists who want to do something different, while keeping some elements of what's known to anchor the weight of it.
