A: My typical work process starts with understanding the client’s vision—the mood, style, and emotional impact they want their track to convey. I listen closely to demos or reference material and provide feedback on arrangement, instrumentation, and vocal approach. From there, I focus on crafting polished vocals, memorable toplines, and production elements that enhance the song while staying true to the artist’s vision. Throughout the project, I prioritize attention to detail, whether it’s refining harmonies, perfecting vocal production, or balancing the mix, and I maintain close communication so the track evolves exactly as the client imagines. I aim to deliver a professional, release-ready song that exceeds expectations while remaining collaborative and creative.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: The most common type of work I do for clients revolves around vocals, toplines, and production for Pop, K-Pop, Dance, and Sync projects. I specialize in taking either a rough demo or a fully written song and helping it reach a professional, release-ready standard. This often includes recording and producing lead and background vocals, creating memorable toplines, refining arrangements, and providing full mixing and mastering when needed. Many of my clients come with partially completed tracks, and I work closely with them to enhance the emotional impact of the vocals, polish the production, and ensure the song translates well across streaming platforms, radio, and sync opportunities. I’m also frequently involved in creative collaboration, helping to shape an artist’s sonic identity, experiment with vocal production techniques, and modernize the instrumentation while maintaining the artist’s original vision. I’ve worked across genres including Pop, K-Pop, Dance, Indie, and Singer-Songwriter, with projects ranging from full original releases to sync-ready tracks for campaigns with Adidas, Love Is Blind, Too Hot To Handle, Single’s Inferno, and RuPaul’s Drag Race. A: I usually work on Pop, K-Pop, Dance, Indie, Singer-Songwriter, and Sync-oriented music, often focusing on tracks that combine memorable melodies, polished vocals, and modern production. I enjoy helping artists shape their sonic identity, whether that’s taking a rough demo and elevating it to a release-ready song, or creating full productions from scratch. My experience spans both mainstream and niche projects, and I adapt my approach to fit the style and vision of each client, ensuring every song feels unique, professional, and emotionally resonant.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My ability to affectively communicate with a client to achieve their vision. Before starting your project we'll chat over messages or skype in detail about your influences, reference tracks, instrumentation and even vocal register to pin point the exact sound you're looking for. This doesn't only make your project sound better but they are completed faster, which is vital when working to strict deadlines.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I draw inspiration from both established and currently trending artists across Pop, K-Pop, Dance, and electronic genres. Musically, I’m inspired by Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Bad Bunny, and BTS, particularly in how they combine strong melodies with modern production techniques. On the production side, I admire professionals like Jack Antonoff, Finneas, Jon Bellion, and Julia Michaels, who craft polished, emotive, and innovative sounds that push pop music forward. I’m constantly listening to new releases and trends to stay current, while also incorporating timeless elements of songwriting and vocal production to make tracks that feel both fresh and enduring.

A: Meeting and working with so many different people.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I will do my very best to get that sound in your head into a record.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: Quite a few, but a few important ones are: What's your deadline? Who are your influences? Are you using this song to pitch or release? Are you open to re-writes or are in love with the current arrangement?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Be as specific about what you want as possible. When someone provides me with reference tracks, chord charts and the story behind a song, it's a perfect situation.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: A laptop, microphone, interface, keyboard and headphones. All very simple bits of gear but you can do pretty much anything with them!

A: Emotive music combined with honest lyricism.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: EQ is one of the most important steps in music production! Always EQ first and do so subtractively, get your sample/stem to sound as close to finished as possible. Doing this at an early stage in your production will help your mix have clarity and speed up that final mix down.
