I had the opportunity to contribute to the production of a track that gained massive recognition both in Brazil and internationally, reaching millions of streams across platforms. My role was as a ghost producer, where I worked closely with the team to craft the beat, arrangement, and sound design, helping shape the track into something that resonated with a global audience. It was a real milestone for me because it allowed me to blend my Brazilian roots with electronic music in a way that felt fresh and unique. What made this project special was seeing how my contributions helped elevate the track to the level it reached — and the response it received from fans was overwhelming. It also solidified my belief in the power of collaboration, and it was a proud moment to see the track played at major events and festivals worldwide.

A: At the moment, I’m working on my upcoming solo album, which features a variety of collaborations with artists like Kevin o Chris, Oruam, and Menor K. It blends elements of hip hop, funk, and Brazilian music, and I'm really excited about how it's shaping up. In addition to that, I’m also collaborating with several independent artists on custom beats and mixing/mastering for their tracks, helping them bring their music to life with a polished, professional sound. Additional revisions may incur a small fee, but I always aim to make sure you're completely satisfied with the outcome. 3. What do I need to provide to start the project? Answer: I usually need a clear idea of the direction for the track (e.g., style, references, and any specific elements you want) and any existing materials you have (e.g., lyrics, vocals, or rough ideas). If you don’t have everything figured out, we can discuss the vision together and I can help guide the process. 4. What genres do you specialize in? Answer: I specialize in a variety of genres, including electronic, hip hop, pop, funk, and Brazilian music. Answer: Yes, once payment is complete, you will own the full rights to the track. For ghost productions, I typically don’t take credit, but for non-ghost work, you’re free to use the music commercially and credit me as “Produced by Duace” or “Duace – Producer.”

A: One of the biggest misconceptions is that ghost production means I’m just "hiding behind the scenes" without contributing creatively. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I’ve been immersed in music for over a decade, starting my journey as a rapper before transitioning into music production and DJing. My path evolved as I became more involved in the Brazilian music scene, collaborating with some of the country’s top artists like Alok, Criolo, Edi Rock, and MC Lan. Over the years, my passion for creating unique, high-quality sounds led me to expand into ghost production, mixing, and mastering. I’ve had the privilege of working on tracks that have accumulated over 6 million streams, and my work has taken me both nationally and internationally, collaborating with artists and producers from Brazil to Europe and the US. As a member of the Latin Grammy Academy, I continue to push boundaries, drawing inspiration from my roots in Acre and blending it with global influences. My career is built on a commitment to excellence, creativity, and bringing out the best in every artist I work with.

A: One key tip I always give to producers is: focus on creating space in your mix. A crowded mix can feel overwhelming and muddy, so make sure each element has room to breathe. This means carefully EQ’ing different tracks to avoid frequency clashes, using panning to create width, and applying subtle reverb to add depth. It’s all about balance — when you create space, each element has the chance to shine, and the track becomes more dynamic and impactful.

Pre-Production: After we’ve nailed down the concept, I begin working on the initial beats, melody, and arrangement. I’ll send you a draft of the track (or rough mix) to get your feedback and ensure we’re heading in the right direction. Revisions & Refining: Based on your feedback, I fine-tune the production, making adjustments to structure, sounds, and arrangements. For mixing and mastering, this stage includes refining each element to create a balanced, polished sound. Final Delivery: Once you’re happy with the mix, I finalize the mastering process — ensuring the track is ready for release across all platforms. You'll receive the final high-quality files (WAV, MP3) and any stems if needed. Follow-up: After delivery, I stay in touch to ensure you're satisfied with the final result.
