I’m Florian Nicolau (aka E1), a composer, producer and awarded multi-instrumentalist with 24+ years of full-time experience in music. Formally trained and internationally awarded as a live performer on piano, guitar, bass, drums and various traditional instruments, I bring both musical depth and adaptability to every project.

As a producer, arranger and songwriter, I’ve worked with artists from across Europe and beyond, creating genre-crossing music from mainstream radio pop and reggaeton to jazz, electronic, cinematic, symphonic and experimental soundscapes.

I’ve performed and toured extensively across Europe and internationally, opening for acts such as Moderat, Parov Stelar, Masego, Roisin Murphy, LP and many more – both as a multi-instrumentalist and as part of projects I’ve produced or arranged.

My work includes collaborations with brands such as RedBull (RedBull Studios Berlin), original music featured in a Netflix & HBO documentary, and co-writing with producers like Yoad Nevo for international campaigns.

I’ve also arranged music for theatre productions, cover bands, acoustic sets and symphonic electronic ensembles, always tailoring the sound to the emotional intent and energy of the context.
