PRODUCTION //
I can take your demo and turn it into a real song or we can start a song completely from scratch. I have the ability to add live instrumentation. I can provide additional production to an existing song. If you are in Los Angeles area we can meet in person at my studio to work together.
MIXING //
I can get your song radio ready. I do all means necessary to improve the mix. I can tighten up vocals and tune if the job calls for it. I am detailed in mixing vocals to give them a pop sheen like top radio hits. I can help make your drums punch and groove. I am able to give each sound their distinct place in the mix not just with volume but also width and depth in the stereo field along with any FX processing. My years of experience as a producer and DJ provides me with a skillset that many mix engineers don't have. I strive for a clear, balanced and grooving mix that feels good.
MASTERING //
In mastering I process your song so it has clarity and translates well on all systems, has the right vibe/feel/tone/emotion, give it the final level boost to compete with commercial songs in the genre. I also provide stem masters if you feel your mix needs a little help.

A: Currently producing/recording with a songwriter in Los Angeles

A: Both. They are both tools with different results. There are benefits to either and it would be circumstantial to when to use either.
