Simon has a natural aptitude for creating sonically lush recordings. Having contributed this to many alternative, independent and major recording artists’ he has garnered a reputation of consistency in helping achieve artists’ visions whilst maintaining their individuality.
With an appreciation for chaotic and noisy recordings as much as classic depth and sheen, Simon likes to experiment with each artist in finding their sonic palette.
These skills are bolstered by credits with Kanye West, Elton John, Bastille, Grace Carter, Paloma Faith, Kokoroko, Amanda Palmer, The Vamps, James Smith and Post Malone, some of which have gone on to achieve Gold and Mulit-Platinum certifications.
His refusal to be pigeonholed by genre has led to an immensely versatile skillset, and is one of the reasons he's received multiple Grammy nominations as an engineer.
