I love quirky and vulnerable artists with a blend of electronic and acoustic instrumentation where personality is writ large and there is a bold artistic vision.
If you bring your song to me, I will work hard to make sure your artistic identity is fully embodied in the final product. I truly believe that the way forward is to develop your unique artistic vision and sound, and for me the production process is our collaborative creation of a musical and sonic language that represents you. I'm not tied to one methodology- I love developing songs from the ground upwards or building on your own demo. Working in a DAW means we have all the flexibility that modern production demands, but a vintage front end (from classic mics and analogue desks) is an important component too. I'm inspired by records from the 60s and 70s and I love warm tone. All of my work uses some live performance to add depth and expression to the production.
