I'm Julio Aguilar, a passionate Andean musician. My mission is to capture the essence of the Andes music in every note - Clients in over 19 countries. - 18 years of experience.

Born in the early 1950's,Plainfield,NJ, I Grew up affected by the music of Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie. In my teens Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Doo Wop, early Rock & Roll. Began writing in earnest at the age of 9. Poetry paints pictures in an impressionistic way that I relate best. I Began teaching myself Guitar in 1970. Wrote my first songs in 1971.

Producer, mixing and mastering engineer. Also a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. I've written, produced, mixed and mastered 4 albums for folk duo the Sandman's Orchestra, and 6 solo albums as Beyond the Ghost as well as production/mixing/mastering for various clients. Favorite genres : folk, indie pop/rock, trip-hop, jazz, ambient, hip-hop.

Originally from Devon but now based at my studio in the London Smog. I'm an extremely versatile Mix Engineer and Producer with over 100 Million Streams on Spotify alone, working on everything from Major label to fully independent projects. Some of my recent work has been in the UK Top 40 for 8 weeks and counting.
