Ivan Popov on SoundBetter

I will make your recordings sound really good - whether it's acoustic, heavy metal, EDM or anything in between. Due to my advanced physics education, I have a solid understanding of how compositions sound and how to use my skills in a creative and powerful way. It's not only about a good mix - it's about details that make the mix amazing.

Self-taught audio engineer and producer with a background in Physics. 7 years of experience working with local Toronto artists as well as processing sound for video games and movies. I provide fast, good sounding music, mixes, and masters, regardless of the genre.

While I don't have any big credits, I have yet to meet someone who wasn't happy with my work. I offer a full suite of production, mixing, and mastering done in the box, with primary specializations on Pop/Metal and Soundtrack music.

Ivan was great to work with. He was very collaborative and was passionate about communicating his creative ideas while accurately producing the sound I wanted. He was able to explain technicalities to me and didn't have a problem teaching me about the mixing process along the way. Job well done, would highly recommend!

Ivan was very quick in responding to my request, and offered an attractive pricing for the work to be done. He then executed the job well before the set deadline, and I was very happy with the results. Ivan was even friendly enough to point out one problem in my original mix so I could fix it before he mastered it.
    Highly recommended!

Ivan is extremely professional and very efficient. He cares about your time frame and will do everything he can to meet the deadline set. Not only that, but he is proficient in his skills and very communicative, so that he mixes your song exactly how you want it to sound. Quick turnover does not mean sloppy work in his case, as he is speedy but diligent. Would definitely recommend!
